Missed by Many

Barbara Sue Beldon, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on November 23, 2022 after a short battle with Covid. She lived a long and fulfilling life of 92 years.

Barbara was born on May 1, 1930, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the late Jerry F. and Dorothy L. Beldon, becoming the eldest of two children and the big sister of David Jonny Beldon. She was preceded in death by both her parents and her brother.

Barbara graduated from Broad Ripple High School in Indianapolis, Indiana and continued her education in music at Indiana University and Butler University. While there, she made lifelong sorority sisters in Alpha Chi Omega. After graduating, she went on to have a fulfilling, 30-year long career as a teacher in Indiana Public Schools.

There will be a visitation on Wednesday, December 7, from 12:30 to 2:30pm with a service following at 2:30pm, at Flanner Buchanan – Broad Ripple, 1305 Broad Ripple Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana 46220. Her final resting place will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Indianapolis.
