Barbara Jean Ehringer

Barbara Jean Ehringer of Indianapolis passed away on December 9, 2020 surrounded by her loving family at the age of 84.

She was born September 19, 1936 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Freeman Francis and Elizabeth Mercedes Sidebottom (Schroeder).

She was a longtime member of Shadeland Baptist Church and a devoted Christian.  She was a social butterfly; she was loved by many and those who knew her have a wonderful story to tell about how she touched their lives. She enjoyed her memberships in the Gold Girls Euchre Club, Red Hat Society, and Calvary Seniors.

She is survived by her children Beverly Fugett (Don), Pamela K. Ehringer, Linda Carol Ehringer, and James “Mike” Ehringer (Laura); 7 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and siblings Patricia Ransom, Mary Parker, Ruth Trammell, David Wayne Sidebottom, Sharon McIntire, and Debbie Meadors.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Albert James Ehringer and brother Daniel Sidebottom.

The family is holding private services.
