Ballard A. Clark, 90 of Westfield, passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family. Ballard was born January 7, 1930 in Hamilton County. He was a 1948 graduate of Westfield High School. He was a US Army veteran, serving 1954-1962. Ballard was a farmer in Hamilton County many years, raising dairy cows, hogs and grain. He was a former 4-H leader and past president of the Hamilton County Farm Bureau.
Funeral services will be at 2:00pm Tuesday, July 28 at Flanner Buchanan-Hamilton Memorial Park, where family and friends are invited to gather from 1:00pm until the time of the service.
Ballard was the widower of N. Geraldine Ballard, who he married June 26, 1948. He is survived by his son. Shayne (wife, Beverly) Clark; daughter-in-law, Elisa Clark; grandchildren, Rachelle (Jeremiah) Goddard, William (Kristen) Clark, Rebekah (Derek) Spriggs, Adriane Clark (Chris Johnson); great grandchildren, Hailey Clark, Michael Clark, Madison Goddard, Aidan Goddard, Connor Goddard, Gabriel Goddard, Kairi Spriggs, Khloe Spriggs, Klara Spriggs; sisters, Jean Robey, Betty (Kenny) Casey; brother, Boone (Mabel) Clark. He was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine Clark, his son, Niles Clark and sister, Ruth Beauchamp.
