From the time Bailey was a little girl, we knew she was special. She never had any problems expressing herself or telling you how she felt about anything. She was fearless and determined to overcome every obstacle that came her way. Bailey had an inner strength that carried her in times of the trouble and adversity. She found great comfort in God’s love and embraced his words when she was far from home.
Bailey loved helping people especially the elderly, and loved animals of all types. She dreamt of traveling and seeing the world and all its gifts. She was sensitive and generous and would literally give away her last dollar or clothes off her back to someone in need. A recent Facebook post of Bailey’s stated She had the heart of a gypsy, the mind, of a hippie, and the spirit of a fairy. That describes our blue eyed angel perfectly.
Bailey loved her family immensely. She adored her Memaw, Braug. Bailey would spend countless hours with her. Memaw called her Noods, Memaw was her strongest supporter and biggest fan. Together they had many great plans and dreams for Bailey. Bailey dreamt of pursuing a career as a drug counselor to help others, as she had struggled. She spoke often of her love for her mother, father, Bri, Tanner and Memaw. She had a special bond with Jenna, Jillian, and Philip; being more like siblings than cousins. Bailey was loved deeply by her aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and grandparents who preceded her in death. We will always have fond memories of countless sleepovers, holidays, vacations, and West Virginia road trips that will live in our family forever.
Bailey was like a light burning brightly. Often these lights while the most brilliant and beautiful also burned the most quickly. Her time in years were short but we will carry her memories, her laugh, her smile with us for years to come.
We would like to take a moment to acknowledge those that have reached out to our family since Bailey has passed. Your thoughts and prayers have been heard and greatly appreciated through this time of need. Someone described Bailey perfectly with the following quote, “You were the most beautiful storm I have ever had to the pleasure of going through.”
If only our prayers and love could have saved you, you would still be with us today. We will love and cherish you forever and always.
