Austin L. Busic

Austin L. Busic, 65, of Indianapolis, passed away on March 19, 2018. Austin was born on June 3, 1952 to the late Dorlan “Curly” and Mary Lou Busic in Indianapolis and graduated from Arsenal Tech High School. He worked for and retired from Kesler-Schaefer Auto Auction services after over 30 years of service. He was a very simple man who enjoyed his quiet time at home watching old movies and listening to music with his canine companion by his side. He was known as the man to call when you needed to know who sang a song or the name of an actor, and was the kind of person you could call if you needed help with anything. He was a caring and loving father, he devoted his life to raising his son, who he considered his best friend. He leaves behind his son, Alex Busic; daughter, Gina Vincent (and family); brothers, Randy Busic (Julie) and Dorlan Busic Jr. (Jamie); and sisters, Becky Piper and Karen Busic. Friends and family are invited to gather to celebrate Austin’s life on Friday, March 23, 2018 from 5:00-8:00pm at Flanner Buchanan- Washington Park East with a brief service to take place at 7:30pm.
