Assunta "Sunny" Carolyn Kinnaman

Indianapolis, IN

Our loving mom was born in Indianapolis, IN on July 14, 1924. Her parents, Amelia and Frank Grimaldi originated from Naples Italy. Sunny grew up in a close-knit family where no one was a stranger and there was always someone new at the dinner table. She was married to John Warren Kinnaman in 1945 after he returned from the Pacific in World War II. 

Sunny is survived by sons Steven Kinnaman (Mary Jo), Craig Kinnaman (Patricia), Kurt Kinnaman, and daughter Lisa Kinnaman Rader (Duane). Grandchildren include Chanse Kinnaman, Amanda Kinnaman, Beckett Christoffel, Keri Vincente Flores, Jon Kinnaman, Kasey Cunningham, Korey Smith, Karley Johnson, Kelly Kinnaman, Kamille Flack, Lindsay Clark, Amelia Rader and 19 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and four siblings, and her husband.

Visitation and services will be held on Tuesday, February 11 at Christ the King Catholic Church, 5884 Crittenden Ave., Indianapolis. Visitation at 10:00 am and a mass at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Christ the King School or Chatard High School to support student tuitions.
