Hinrichs- Anthony H. (Tony), November 15, 2022. Tony was born in Wheeling, West Virginia on March 10, 1947, to Roland R. and Virginia (Burkhead) Hinrichs, who resided at the time in Narrows, Virginia. Tony graduated from Olney Friends School in Barnesville, Ohio, in 1965. He attended Wilmington College in Wilmington, Ohio (https://www.wilmington.edu/) for two years and then two more years at Earlham College in Richmond, Indiana.
Quakers are Conscientious Objectors and, as a Quaker, he sent his draft cards back to the US Government.
Tony has lived in Indiana since 1980. Anthony met and married his sweetheart, Leialoha Garber, in 2013, and they made their home at Robin Run Village in 2014.
Anthony supported SPLC and worked tirelessly to eradicate injustice in any form.
Tony is survived by his wife, G. Leialoha (Garber) Hinrichs, a niece, Kathy (Hinrichs) Keith, and their three children of Mt. Dora, Florida, his stepchildren Angela M. (Moerchen) John Fessler of Humble, Texas, Peter J. Moerchen, (Sarah), J. Louis Moerchen, both from Auburn, Alabama, Tessa A (Moerchen), Jonathan Northey of Northern Ireland, Anna M. Moerchen, and 8 step-grandchildren, with another on the way. Anthony had no children of his own.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Peter, Chris Hinrichs, a sister Rachel (Hinrichs) Pickering, and a half-brother Carl Goodwin.

There will be a Memorial Service at Robin Run Village on December 8, 2022, at 10:00 am.
