Anthony “Tony” W. DeLuca, 78, of Indianapolis, passed away on September 9, 2019.
Tony was born on November 21, 1940 in Indianapolis to Opal and Anthony DeLuca. He graduated from Tech High School in 1959 and began his career at Western Electric. In 1963 he joined the United States Navy honorably serving his country for several years. Following his discharge from the Navy he returned to work at Western Electric for the remainder of his career. Tony was a quiet man, but he had a great sense of humor and love of family and friends. He was kind and compassionate, never having a bad word to say about anyone, and will be dearly missed by those who knew him.
He leaves behind his loving husband of 45 years, Charles “Chuck” Eaglin; brother, Richard (Doris) Whyde; nieces and nephew, Sherry (Mark) Brown, Teresa (Jeff) Hayden-Reeves, Michael “Mike” Whyde, Linda Whyde; great nieces and nephews, Steven P. Hayden, Cory D. Hayden, Luke J. “Caleb” Reeves, Joe Reeves, Allison Brown, Katie Brown; sisters and brother in law, Kathy (Lowell) Whitehead, George (Joyce) Eaglin, Carol (Danny) May, Jeanette (Ted) Moon, and Jayellen Walker.
