Anthony Lee Edwards

Anthony Sr. was a kind and caring man, father, grandparent, veteran, and friend; who gave the best hugs. He always cracked jokes to anyone who would listen. He always had time to listen and chat with people, and he would welcome everyone in. You always felt loved after spending time with Anthony Sr.

Anthony Edwards Sr. passed away peacefully on December 26th, 2020 at the age of 77. He was born on January 12th, 1943 to Ellen and Howard. Anthony Sr. was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana but life journeys took him to soak in the warm Alabama sun. He worked at Chrysler for 35 years. Anthony Sr. was also a proud veteran who served in the United States Navy from 1960-1964.

After Anthony Sr. retired, he had a passion for watching Westerns in his Lazy Boy. Anthony Sr. loved watching and rooting on the Colts and Pacers sporting events. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed spending time on the water. In his free time, Anthony Sr. enjoyed visiting the local YMCA to participate in water aerobics and flirting with the ladies.

Anthony Sr. is survived by his sister, Karen Millstein; son, Tony Jr.; grandkids: Ashlyn, Austin, Ricky, Sean, and Jessica; and his great-grandchildren.
