Anne Wynelle (Davis) Billings 89, of Avon, IN died on April 11, 2021. Anne was born on August 29, 1931 in Macon, Georgia to Rev. Thomas E. and Rosa Belle (Flowers) Davis. Anne was a lifelong learner and teacher. She taught the last 15 of her 33-year teaching career at Stephen Decatur Elementary in Indianapolis.
Anne was a long-time member of the John Wesley Free Methodist Church. Her viewing will be at JWFM, Saturday, April 17 from 10:00am-12:00pm, followed by the funeral service at Noon. (John Wesley FM Church, 5900 West 46th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46254)
Her burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery in Plainfield, IN alongside her husband, Rev. Lee B. Billings. Online condolences and video tribute of Anne may be viewed @ www.flannerbuchanan.com.
She is survived by her son, David Billings and daughter, Linda (Dave) Ramundo. Also, grandchildren Megan (Dave) Adams, Nick (Amanda) Ramundo, and Lindsey (Daniel) Baker and four wonderful great grandchildren.
Anne fully enjoyed reading historical fiction, singing in the choir, watching the Colts, and loved her family well. She is greatly missed already.
