Anna Marie Ochs Danneels

Anna Marie (Ochs) Danneels of Carmel, IN was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who always had a smile on her face. She was loved by all, always kind and patient with a servant heart. Anna peacefully passed away on February 1, 2021 at age 79 surrounded by loved ones.
Anna Marie (Ochs) Danneels was born on March 21st, 1941 to Theodore “Ted” Henry Ochs and Marie Katherine (Bisterfeldt) Ochs in Wichita, KS. She was a 1959 graduate of East High School.
In 1969 Anna met the love of her life and on November 6, 1971, she was united in Holy Matrimony to Gregory J Danneels. Anna and Greg went on to have a son, Steven.
Anna was a member of Cornerstone Lutheran Church, where she was an active member of the choir, participated in front porch visits and assisted with the monthly newsletter.
Anna loved preparing a delicious meal, wrapping beautiful gifts and going out to eat. Helping others brought her great joy, as did her dogs and the family adventures. Nothing brought her greater joy than her dearly loved grandchildren.
Anna was preceded in death by her parents Ted and Marie Ochs, and siblings Lavon Dwane Ochs, Jay Dee Ochs, Gwenneth Leigh (Ochs) Bullock, Theodore Henry Ochs Jr, and John David Ochs. She is survived by her loving devoted husband, Greg; her son, Steven (Keeta) Danneels and two beautiful grandchildren, Aidan and Quinne Danneels of Florence, KY; her sister, Ila (L.B.) Teeter of Rogers, AR; her brothers, G.I. (Barbara) Ochs of Rogers, AR, & James Ochs of Austin, Texas.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 6 at 11:00 am at Cornerstone Lutheran Church 4850 E. Main St. Carmel, IN., where family and friends are invited to gather from 10:00 am until the time of the service.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
