Anna “Jean” Scott, 84, of Indianapolis, passed away August 10, 2020. She was born in Big Springs, Tennessee, August 21, 1935, to parents of  The Late Clifford and The Late Lena (Womac) Johnson. On June 2, 1953, Jean married the love of her life, John L. Scott, in Rossville, Georgia. They spent 67 wonderful years of marriage together. She and John loved to travel, exploring everywhere from Gatlinburg to the Bahamas. Jean worked as a florist for over 22 years before retiring. She was very creative and took pride in making beautiful flower arrangements. She was a loving woman with many interests. Jean was a den mother for the Boy Scouts and served as a Girl Scout leader for 20 years. She enjoyed bowling and crocheting. When her children were younger, she crocheted several shirts and vests for them. Jean loved a good storm and found peace in the thunder and lightning- often causing her to drift off to sleep. Above all, she loved spending time with her husband and family. She will be missed by all. Jean is survived by her husband, John Lee Scott Sr; son Johnny Scott Jr.(Vicki), daughter Patricia Le`Ann Worman (James); grandchildren James W. Jr (Christina), Ashley Nicole Franklin (Tj); great-grandchildren Emmalynn Franklin, Daylin Thomas Worman-Choate; brother Ralph Johnson (Norma) and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister Mildred C. Dooley ( Huey ) & her son Samuel Clifford Scott.
