Ann L. Tushaus, 82, Carmel, passed away July 18, 2018. She was born June 28, 1936, in Walnut, IL, the daughter of the late William H. and Iva G. (Phillips) Kindt. She married Robert J. Tushaus on April 4, 1964.
Ann received her Bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of Illinois. She was a member of the Newcomers Club of Carmel and various card clubs. She enjoyed traveling to all 50 states and she had a love of music. Ann was an avid Indianapolis Colts fan, and enjoyed attending her three grandsons sporting events. She loved volunteering for Carmel Clay Schools. Ann’s greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family as a dedicated and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Robert Tushaus; daughter, Cathy (Doug) Klink; three grandsons, Tyler, Matthew, and Andrew Klink; brother-in-law, Bill Tushaus; and two sisters-in-law, Karen (Bob) Keller and Jan Selby.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 23, 2018, at Flanner Buchanan – Carmel, 325 East Carmel Drive. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Salvation Army or to a charity of the donor’s choice that will benefit the poor. Online condolences may be shared by visiting flannerbuchanan.com.
