Ann E. Ohlson, 65, of Carmel, passed away Friday, July 14, 2017. Ann was born July 28, 1951 in Warsaw, IN, to the late Wayne and Patricia Graff. She was a graduate, with honors, from Ball State University and received her Master’s degree, with honors, from Butler University. Ann was a family and consumer science teacher for the Carmel Clay Schools, at Clay Junior High. She also owned Ann Ohlson Event Planning. She served as Vice President of the Ohlson Group, Inc.
Ann is a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Woodland Country Club, Pi Beta Phi Sorority and served on the patient advisory board for St. Vincent Carmel Hospital.
Family and friends are invited to gather from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, July 18 at Flanner and Buchanan-Carmel. A funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 am Wednesday, July 19 in the Good Shepherd Chapel at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
Ann is survived by her husband of 45 years, Raymond J. Ohlson; children, Nicholas R. (wife, Jessica) Ohlson, Joseph R. (wife, Taria) Ohlson, and Kiley A. (husband, Nathan) Ohlson-Leong; sisters, Mitzi L. Graff and Jo E. (husband, Jeffrey) Dowdy. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father, Joseph Shuck.
