Aniyah was the life of our family; she was filled with soooo much love and joy! Her happiness was contagious; she was very observant and can come off as shy, but once she gets familiar with you, she’ll become your (BFF) best friend forever! If it wasn’t her sweet little voice, her sweet little laugh, or them innocent pretty eyes she stared at you with.
Aniyah was every bit ahead of her time being that she was the youngest of twelve! She has 7 older sisters and 4 older brothers, so she was taught by many of them in different ways. She enjoyed her playtime every day with her older sister, A’shantee, who was just 2 years older! They would do everything as one together like play together, laugh together, and even when they got in trouble by mom, it was always together! Aniyah would get up every morning by 6am just to watch A’shantee get on the bus, and by 3:00 pm, she would be right back at the door waiting on her to return from school.
Aniyah knew how to balance well with her siblings, knowing everybody wanted her attention and time being that she was the baby of the camp, and just so lovable and sweet! She always blurted out I just love my brothers and sisters. Mom and Dad will ask why? Her reply would be I don’t know I just love them so much. Aniyah was so kind and sweet; she referred to her daddy as the King and her mom the Queen, and she would say she’s the Princess!
Her favorite things to do was always jumping at bounce houses and Chuck E. Cheese! Her favorite places to go would always be the beach; Aniyah loved water and sand! Aniyah’s favorite food was seafood boil and her daddy’s steak. She loved playing dress up with her sister, A’shantee. When she watched her favorite TV shows, Peppa Pig & Bluey, you’ll know because Aniyah instantly blocks the world off and couldn’t hear anything but Peppa Pig!
Aniyah also love spending time with her aunts, who she loved dearly. She was nicknamed Fats from her TT Aaliyah, who was also present with her during her last moments! Her Aunt Cleo would often pick her up take her to church. She loved getting her hair braided by Aunt Cleo just to say I can’t wait until my daddy sees what my hair looks like! That was her mojo every time! Nana (Tamarah) was her best friend because she knew anything she wanted or her little heart desired, Nana will make it happen without a care what anybody says! Nana was always one phone call away, and she always was available when it came to her grandbabies. No matter what, her number one priority was always her two grandchildren and Ashton would have made 3 (we love you Ashton).
Aniyah was blessed to have both her grandmothers in her life, and she was truly a blessing to all of us! When she would go off with her Grandma Brenda, you knew it because she would return with a face full of kisses in red! Automatically people would say oh you must been around Grandma Brenda!
Aniyah was preceded in death by her maternal great-grandparents, Cynthia and Sherman Mallory, paternal great-grandparents, Emogene Williams and James Cheshier, and baby cousin, Ashton Moore.
She leaves to cherish her memory her mother and father, Anthonett Jones and Quentin Cheshier, sisters, Malaysia, M’Kalah, M’Kayah, Makaiya, Zoiey, Makenzie, and A’shantee, brothers Jayvion, Damarion, Quentin, and Quenci, grandparents, Tamarah, Brenda, and John, uncles, Lamonte, Antonio C., Charles, Anthony, and Antonio J., aunts, Aaliyah, Chrystal, Gigi, Mya, Ciera, Cre’shonda, and a host of extended family, great-aunts and uncles, cousins and friends.
