Angela V. Ware,
72, of Indianapolis, passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2017. Angela was born on January 26, 1945 in London, England, to the Late Bill and Irene (Walker) Gray. She grew up in England with her sisters, until moving to the United States in the early 1970’s. Angela’s sister Peggy had married a soldier and moved to Indianapolis and after visiting Angela fell in love with Indiana, relocating her family there permanently. She loved going to the casino, watching her grandsons play baseball, and spending time in St. Petersburg, Florida. Angela loved cooking traditional English food for her family during the holidays; Yorkshire puddings and sausage rolls for Christmas, and Hot Cross Buns for Easter. She was a member of the Mach Board, the Transatlantic Brides and Parents Association (TBPA) and the British Club. More than anything, Angela loved spending time with her family.
Angela is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Peggy Bischoff. She is survived by her daughters: Mandy (Chris) Silberzahn, Michelle (Randy) Breeden, and Cindy (Jason) Hobbs; her grandchildren: Jacob Hobbs, Jackson Hobbs, Lucas Hobbs, Shane Nonnenberg, Nick (Rachelle) Nonnenberg, Adam (Amber) Clements, and Emma Silberzahn; her great-grandchildren: Noah Clements, Rylan Clements, and Miles Nonnenberg; and her sister, Judy Albone.
Visitation will be held from 2:00pm to 4:00pm on Friday, March 10, 2017 at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St., Indianapolis 46229, with a Memorial Service to follow at 4:00pm. A Celebration of Life will take place on Friday, March 10, 2017 beginning at 6:00 pm at Lakeview Terrace Clubhouse, 2170 Lake Terrace Drive, Indianapolis IN 46237.
