Angela Dawn Cwikla

Angela Dawn Cwikla, 41, of New Palestine, passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2016. She was born on June 18, 1975 in Marion, IN to the late Richard and Sherrie (Eaton) Lusher. Angie was a 1993 graduate of Marion High School and earned an Associate degree in Printing Technology from Ball State University in 1995. She worked 21 years for Jackson Press in Beech Grove, IN. Angie was a selfless volunteer. Her passion was her family and friends; creating memories and time shared with others was most important to her. She loved her Florida family vacations and time spent in Brown County with friends. In her own words, “CANCER SUCKS”. She also attended Holy Spirit Catholic Church with her family. Angie is survived by her husband of 15 years, David Cwikla; her son and ‘Sugar Bear’, Jake Cwikla; her father and mother-in-law, Walt and Annette Cwikla; sister-in-law, Kristina Cwikla; and best friends and sisters, Erica (Steve) Conrad, Heather Roy and Montelle Berkshire. Angie is also survived by her aunt, Linda Wise; nieces, Grace, Emma and Sara Carmichael; great-nephew, Aiden Carmichael; numerous other aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her parents; and uncle, Jack Wise. A celebration of Angie’s life will be held on Friday, December 9, 2016 from 5-9pm at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East. A Memorial Mass will take place on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at 10am at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 7243 E. 10th St. Indianapolis, 46219, with burial in Washington Park East Cemetery immediately following. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to her son’s college fund, with checks payable to her ‘Sugar Bear’ Jake Cwikla.
