Andre Maurice Bucove

Andre Maurice Bucove, born August 15, 1961; died August 1, 2018. He is survived by his mother, Donna Foster; step-father Jerry Foster; sister, Rachel Hitchcock; aunt, Elizabeth Weaver; step-mother, Susan Bucove; and step-sisters, Carrie Meinert, Beth Pitts, and Christy Tan. He is preceded in passing by his father, David A. Bucove.

Andre had a quick intellect and followed many interests. He held a Master of Liberal Arts in Economics from Indiana University, an Associate Degree from Ivy Tech University, and a teaching degree in math from Wesleyan University.

Andre held membership in Phi Theta Kappa, the Indiana Astronomical Society, and the Indiana Grotto.

A serious amateur astronomer, Andre spend many nights in remote parts of Indiana photographing the planets, stars, and galaxies. He enjoyed sharing this work.

Family and friends hold his memory dear, remembering his kindness, loving nature, and deep ethical standards.
