Amy Christine Lynch

Amy Christine (Weismiller) Lynch, 42, Indianapolis, passed away peacefully at her home on September 19th, 2021.  Amy was born on December 21st, 1978 to Lisa Hobbs and Bruce Weismiller.  In 2007, Amy married G. Patrick Lynch.

Amy enjoyed traveling, reading, and spending time with her family and was very proud of her children George Patrick III and Vivian Elise. Amy led a diverse life but in the last few years she enjoyed playing tennis, pickleball and platform tennis with her husband and friends.  Amy will be remembered not only for her joy and friendship but also for her competitive nature while on the court. 

Amy was preceded in death by her father in law, George Lynch; her grandfathers, Delvin Mahaney and Jack Weismiller.  She is survived by her husband, children, parents Lisa and husband Dennis Hobbs and Bruce Weismiller; her grandmothers, Billie Mahaney and Bonnie Weismiller.  Amy will also be remembered by her mother in law, Joan Lynch, siblings Laura (Darrick) Kelley, Joshua (Rachel) Hobbs, and sister in law, Lori Lynch. Last but not least, Amy will be missed more than words can express by her extended family, friends and others whose lives she touched during her limited time with us.

A funeral mass will take place on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 10:30 am at Saint Luke Catholic Church, 7575 Holiday Drive E, Indianapolis, IN 46260. Friends may gather at 9:30 if they so with. Mass will be officiated by Fr. James Bonke.
