Alonza Lonnie Nipper

Alonza Lonnie Nipper, 84 of Indianapolis, IN was born September 5, 1932 and passed away November 24, 2016. He was born in Corbin, Virginia to Charles and Pearly Mae Nipper, who precede him in death. He retired from GM after 36 ½ years of service. He was a very loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was a hard worker and enjoyed gardening and cooking. He was a member of Masonic Lodge #669.

Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife of 62 years, Ethel, children, Wanda (Michael) Lambert, Kathy (Mark) Krug and Lonnie Nipper, grandchildren, Jennifer Kincaid, Matthew (Heidi) Krug and Lindsay (Justin) Woodson and great-grandchildren, Sadie Obregon, Gavin Krug, Tyler Krug and Gabriel Woodson.

Friends may visit from 3:00 PM until the Masonic Service at 7:00 PM, Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at Flanner and Buchanan – Floral Park, 425 N. Holt Road, Indianapolis 46222. A Celebration of his life will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral center. Contributions may be made the Shriners, the Masonic Lodge, Alzheimer’s Association, Heart or Kidney Foundations.
