Alfred Lee Carroll, 66, of Clearwater, Florida, passed Sunday, April 22, 2018 at Sunset Point Rehab Center in Clearwater. He was born in Beech Grove, Indiana. Alfred served his country during the Vietnam war in the US Marines. Alfred worked for Phoenix Brands in Indianapolis for many years. He enjoyed fishing and remodeling houses with his brother Tony. He was always willing to extend a helping hand to anyone in need.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ardill Carroll and brother Mike Carroll. Alfred is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Bonnie; children, Jeremy (Beth) Carroll of Jacksonville, FL.; Amanda (Craig) Carroll Studt; mother, Sarah Jane Duncan; 4 grandchildren, Alexis, Carson, Annika and Aurora; siblings, John (Maureen) Carroll; Roger (Kathy) Carroll; Taffy Griffin; Tony (Becky) Carroll; Jeff (Yvette) Carroll; many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Friends and family are invited to gather from 2:00-5:00pm on Sunday, April 29th, 2018 with a funeral service to take place 10:00am on Monday, April 30th at Flanner Buchanan- Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN. Burial will military honors will follow funeral service at Marion National Cemetery at 1:00pm.
Contributions in Al’s honor may be made to the Humane Society, Heart Association, or charity of choice.
