Alexis “Lexi” Querry, 29, died January 11, 2022, in her childhood Zionsville home, due to complications of her Lupus. She was born July 23, 1992, in Chicago. A graduate of Zionsville Community High School and Northwestern University. Lexi was working for the digital marketing company, closerlook inc., as a digital media specialist. She loved reading, creative writing, movies, family vacations, and spending time with her many friends and family. Among her special friends are former Chicago roommates and college classmates, Amanda Torgerson and Micaela Stump. Lexi moved back to Indianapolis in July 2021 to live with her partner, Steve Mackey. Lexi is survived by her parents, Michael Querry and Lisa Prado; her sister and best friend, Kendall Querry (fiancée Erik Gangstad); grandfather, Devon Querry; great-aunts, Angeline Prado Komenich and Jo Gay Blissitt; and aunts and uncles, Cheryl Jordan (Jerry), Susan Cole (Joey), Karen Gross (Ted), Laura Marlatt (Bob); and her beloved rescue dog, Wally. She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Lois Ann Querry and Olive Bistransky; and her grandfather, John Bistransky.
