Alethea (Letha) Marie McNeely

Alethea (Letha) Marie McNeely, age 67, of Indianapolis, passed from this life, Tuesday morning, December 13, 2023. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Paul McNeely and her parents, Paul and Hazel Verhines. Letha was a graduate of Arsenal Technical High School. She was president of the Resident’s Council and very active in her community at Westminster Village North. Letha was a member of the First Bible Apostolics of Indianapolis where she was active in leadership and a faithful member of the congregation. Her favorite pastime was telling everyone she came in contact with about her family, her church, and her Savior.

She is survived by her children Rachel Mahurin of Franklin, Gabrielle (Gabby) Myers of Elwood, James McNeely of Carmel, Jacob McNeely of Indianapolis, and her two grandsons, Alex Mahurin and Xzavier Myers. Surviving siblings are Steven Verhines (Kaylinn Clark) of Beaverton OR, Mary Fernandez (Emilio) of McCordsville, Rebecca Wilson of Lebanon, Mindy Driggers of Anderson, and Michael Verhines (Jealyn) of Indianapolis. Also surviving are her loving in-laws the McNeely family, Uncle Lit, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will take place Saturday, December 16, 2023, from 10:00am-12:00pm with the celebration of life service from 12:00pm-1:00pm. Location is First Bible Apostolics 2340 N. Ritter Avenue, Indianapolis, IN  46218
