Ale Dora Shrum Ledgerwood

94, of Pittsboro, Indiana, passed away on October 26, 2020 in Avon, Indiana.  Ale was born on October 9, 1926 in Macon County, Tennessee to the late William and Amanda Shrum.  She retired from Balkamp Incorporated-Genuine Parts in 1989.  She was a member of Harvest Missionary Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her husbands, Joe Cartwright, Charles Abner and Denver D. Ledgerwood and son, David Cartwright.  She is survived by her children, Joe (Barbara) Cartwright, Michael Cartwright and Scott (Linda) Cartwright; 11  grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren.  Visitation will be Thursday, October 29, 2020 from 1 to 2 pm with a service at 2 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park.  Burial will follow at Floral Park Cemetery.
