Alberta Maxine Ward

Alberta “Maxine” (Archer) Ward, age 87 of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away peacefully at her home Sunday, March 4, 2018 with her loving and devoted husband of 65 years by her side. She was preceded in death by her parents; Donald and Myrle (Cooper) Archer and siblings; Robert, Donald, Howard, Harry, Raymond Jr., Marjorie, James and Harold. She is survived by her husband, Donald Ward; children Joe Ward, David (Paula) Ward, Kenny Ward, Susan (Rich) Winings and Donnie (Robin) Ward; brother Joe Archer; sister Helen Voelkel, many grandchildren, great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed. May she rest in heaven.  Friends can call from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 13th at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park , 425 North Holt Road, Indianapolis, Indiana. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. followed by interment at Floral Park Cemetery.
