Albert Franklin "Frank" Little, Jr.

Father, retired auto worker, and funny man,
Albert Franklin “Frank” Little, Jr. , 76 of Brownsburg, Indiana passed away February 26, 2021 due to complications from a stroke. He was born May 10, 1944 in Phoenix, Arizona to the late Albert Franklin and Nell (Salyers) Little, Sr.

Frank had a great sense of humor, sharp wit, and was the king of hyperbole. One of his favorite bits was to pull on his whole index finger and resurge with the index finger that was cut in half, the ultimate magic trick. Frank loved grocery shopping, all things history, was a purveyor of hats, and one never needed to walk on his floor because he had so many rugs.

Frank had a passion for photography, dancing, and was trained in karate, and in boxing. He loved God and you couldn’t get out of a conversation with him without him mentioning the Bible, usually a notion conventionally unexamined. He’d been through a lot, but he was loving with a big heart. He loved to cook and would often buy and cook you food.

Frank was a graduate of Indiana Vocational Technical College with a degree in Hotel/ Motel Management. He was a loving provider, having worked in various positions for both Chrysler Corporation and General Motors for 30 + years before retiring in 2011. Frank served proudly in the United States Air Force from May 14, 1964 to November 24, 1967 with the United States Air Force Aircraft Control and Warning Squadrons.

He was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew him. Frank is survived by his children, Albert Franklin Little III, Christine Marie Little, sisters, Marchetta Little, Pat Zumpe, Linda Winters, brother, Steve Little (Janet), ex-wife, Junia Mae (Townsend) Little, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, March 4, 2021 2 PM at Floral Park Cemetery in Indianapolis, IN.
