Agnes C. Lehenbauer

Agnes Cornelia Lehenbauer, born November 12th, 1928, beloved daughter of Ethmer and Hazel George, beloved wife of Robert, beloved mother of Karl and Sharon Annette, passed away peacefully in her home in Richmond, Texas on November 30th, 2022. A four-decade resident of Indianapolis, Agnes loved the city, enjoying its beauty, people and the opportunities and activities it presented.

Active in her church, the Salvation Army, and politics, Agnes worked in the court system and as a legal secretary, eventually retiring at age 85. She enjoyed playing golf and bridge and made and kept many lifelong friends.

She is survived by her son and daughter, her grandchildren Joshua, Nathan, and Amanda, and her great-grandchild Oliver.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 12, 2022, from 10-12pm at Flanner Buchanan-Washington Park North 2706 Kessler Blvd West Drive Indianapolis, IN 46228. A funeral service will follow at 12pm. Entombment will be at Washington Park North Cemetery.
