Adeline E. Rhea

Adeline E. Rhea, 89, of Carmel passed away July 4, 2019. She was born November 22, 1929, in St. Meinrad, IN, the daughter of Martin and Mathilda (Lehr) Jent. She married Frank Rhea, who preceded her in passing.

Adeline was a long-time member of Carmel United Methodist Church. She was an avid bridge player and enjoyed spending time with family.

She is survived by three of her children, Beverly (Kevin) Ray, Betty (Mike) Williams, and Brian (Cory) Rhea; 8 grandchildren, Matt Elzer, Andrea Bailey, Sarah Elzer, Allison Rhea, Evan Rhea, Dan Rhea, Shawn Rhea, and Ashlie Hafner; 11 great grandchildren, Austin, Kyle, Katie, Breanna, Sabryna, Bryttany, Damon, Brayden, Cameron, Kimberly, and Adrianna. She was preceded in passing by a son, Bruce Rhea and a grandson, Jonathan Elzer.

Memorial services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 15, 2019,  at Flanner Buchanan – Carmel, 325 East Carmel Drive, Carmel. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until the time of service.
