David Lee Cole

Age 67, of Greenfield, IN, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2018.  David was born in Indianapolis, IN on September 24, 1950 to his parents, Johnny and Jean (Dorsett) Cole.  He attended Purdue University and went on to work for Wonder Bread, retiring as a Supervisor.  He was a member of The People’s Church and Sons of the American Legion Post 495, where he previously served as a District Commander.  David was very loving and caring and would lend a helping hand to whomever needed it.  He absolutely adored his grandkids and loved spending time with them.  He also had a wonderful sense of humor and was a true joy to be around.

David will be lovingly missed by his wife, Theresa (Parnell) Cole; daughter, Monica (Cole) Marsh and husband, Tracy; son, Micheal Cole; step-daughter, Spring Rodriguez; grandchildren: Justin, Cody and Makayla Mulryan; and sister, Denise Cole of Florida.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny and Jean; and wives, Rose M. (Wilkins) Cole, the mother to his children, and Roxanne (Stevens) Cole.

Friends may call from 12 Noon until 2pm, Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Flanner Buchanan- Washington Park East, with services to immediately follow at 2pm. Entombment will be in Washington Park East Cemetery.
