Zachary Moore

December 30, 1899 — November 16, 2016

Zachary Moore, 24, of Noblesville, returned to the Lord on November 16, 2016. Beloved son of Carlos and Mandy Moore; cherished grandson of Martin and Debra Barnes and Robert and Stella Moore, beloved nephew of Corey (Anne) Barnes; and cherished friend and cousin to many. Zach was the kindest, gentlest soul you would ever encounter. He made his parents and grandparents proud every day. Zach brought a warm energy to whatever room he was in, often with his smile rather than words. Zach was very bright, and a talented, self-taught musician who enjoyed exploring his creativity with his musician uncle, Corey. Zach had struggled with addiction over the past few years, but he fought hard, relying on the endless love and support of his family. Zach was a hard-working barista, waiter, and student. His intelligence and curiosity for learning new things would have taken him far, and we are all at a huge loss in his absence. Zachary’s family loves him, misses him beyond words, and finds solace knowing he is at peace and with God. Despite the pain of his loss, his family is grateful for the twenty-four years of joy, love, and light he brought to their lives. May his memory be eternal.

A private funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 22nd for immediate family. A memorial celebrating Zachary’s life will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 11:00 am at CrossRoads Church, Westfield. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Zachary’s honor may be made to Crossroads Church: https://www.crcw.org/.

– John Steinbeck
