Yvonne D. "Von" Bracken

Yvonne Donnette (Thompson) Bracken, or Von as she was commonly known, passed away on January 14, 2019. Von was born in Indianapolis, IN on September 8, 1964 to parents, John “Red” and Cledith “June” (Clark) Thompson.

Von, a homemaker, was a fun-loving gal who adored her family and friends. She loved hosting parties, cooking, crafting, spending time on the river, playing horseshoes, working puzzles and needlepoint.

Von was preceded in death by her father, John “Red” Thompson.

She is survived by her husband, Arthur J. “Art” Bracken, whom she married on June 3, 1983; mother, June Thompson; daughters: Jennifer Nava Palacios (Alberto) and Jessica Bracken; grandchildren: Isabelle, Madison and Alberto Nava and Gianna Ortega; siblings: Bill Thompson (Kay), Terry Thompson (Joyce) and Herbert Thompson; her beloved friends, Sherrie Walters, Melinda Welch, Robin Shoemaker, Terrie Lewis and Debbie Blech; as well as many other nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

Calling will be held from 5pm until 8pm on Friday, January 18, 2019 at Flanner Buchanan- Broad Ripple, 1305 Broad Ripple Ave., Indianapolis.
