Woodson "Woody" Earl Lagle

Woodson “Woody” Earl Lagle passed away July 7, 2022 at the age of 69 surrounded by his loving family.

He was born February 2, 1953 in Indianapolis to Wallace and Nellie Lagle.

Woody owned and operated Woody’s Plumbing for almost 40 years. He enjoyed fishing, the Indy 500, and especially loved his truck.  He was very good with his hands and always had a project which he did “his” way.  He enjoyed flipping houses and cars.

He is survived by his wife Patricia “Pat” Ann Lagle; children Rick Shields (Jodi), Lisa Flanagan (William), and Melissa Lagle; 9 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and siblings Ruthie Hammond, Helen “Joie” Williamson, Louann Richie, Jan Benham, and Bruce Lagle.

He was preceded in death by his parents Wallace and Nellie, as well as 6 siblings.

Visitation will be held Thursday, July 14 from 11 AM to 2 PM in Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St, Indianapolis.  Funeral Services will begin at 2 PM.   Burial will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery.

Donations in his memory may be made to his wife Pat to assist with medical expenses.
