Winifred “Wendy” L. Vaden
80 of Beech Grove, Indiana, passed away on June 9, 2023. Wendy was born on September 5, 1942, in Middletown, Ohio to the late John and Thelma Howard. She was a retired business owner. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Jack Howard, Mary Nunn and Robert Howard; daughter-in-law, Mary Brummitt and her parents. She is survived by her husband, James Vaden; children, Teresa (Robert) Barrett, Cheryl (John) Boyce, Thomas Brummitt and James (Lori) Brummitt; brothers, Donald (Kathy) Howard and Joey (Jenny) Howard; fourteen grandchildren and several great and great great grandchildren. Funeral service will be Thursday, June 15, 2023, at 3 pm with visitation from 1 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park. Entombment will follow at Floral Park Cemetery.
