William Dean Horton

William D. Horton, 73, of Rochester, MI, formerly of Carmel, IN, passed away February 23, 2018.  He was born May 5, 1944, in Washington, IN, the son of the late Delbert and Zelma (Combs) Horton.  He married Chandy Gilliatt on July 25, 1980.

Bill loved woodworking, playing the flute, and his dogs. His biggest joy in life was spending time with family. 

He is survived by his wife, Chandy Horton; children, Jami (Myles) Horton-Berry, Kelli Horton;  and siblings, Jerry Horton, Don Horton, David Horton and Mark Horton.

Services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 1, 2018, at Flanner Buchanan – Carmel, 325 East Carmel Drive.  Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.  Interment will follow the services at Carmel Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be directed to American Diabetes Association.  Online condolences may be shared by visiting www.flannerbuchanan.com.
