Wai Nang Yeung
Died peacefully in his Indianapolis,
Indiana home surrounded by his family on Monday, October 12, 2015 at the age of
96.
Wai Nang Yeung is survived by his wife,
Ping Liu Yeung; children: Rosa Chi of Indianapolis, Indiana; Joanna Lin of
Beaver Creek, Ohio; Julie Lee of Plymouth, Minnesota; and Michael Yeung of Milpitas,
California; grandchildren: Jason Chi of Washington, D.C.; Jessica Chi Nimjee of
Columbus, Ohio; Ruth Lin Nakai of Chicago, Illinois; Daniel Lin of Dayton,
Ohio; Stephanie, Melissa, and Carolyn Lee of Plymouth, Minnesota; and Amy Yeung of
Milpitas, California; and great-grandchildren: Zahir and Alina Nimjee of
Columbus, Ohio; Jeremiah Nakai of Chicago, Illinois.
Wai Nang Yeung was educated in China. He
served as an executive in varying industries in China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and
Indonesia.
Wai Nang moved to the United States in 1978
and would later become an American citizen. He was a devoted husband, father,
grandfather, great grandfather, and member of the Chinese Community Church of
Indianapolis.
A funeral service in honor of Wai Nang
Yeung is scheduled for Sunday, October 18, 2015 3:30pm at Flanner
Buchanan- Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (Conner Suite), 9700 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, Indiana,
46250, with visitation preceding the service from 2:30pm – 3:30pm. All are
welcome to attend and celebrate Wai Nang's life. In lieu of flowers, a donation
to the Alzheimer's Association would be greatly appreciated.
