Thomas L. Carlisle, 71, Indianapolis, passed away on May 27, 2017. He was born on May 30, 1945 in Las Vegas, Nevada, to Harry and Katherine (Masters) Carlisle.
Thomas was proud to have served in the US Air Force. He graduated from Whiteland High School. Following his service, he worked as a journeyman millwright from General Motors and retired from the company in 2006.
Thomas will be remembered for his life-long hobby of creating and displaying his model trucks and tanks, his beloved trainsets. He enjoyed tinkering with his models, riding motorcycles and playing computer games.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Brenda (Taylor) Carlisle; daughter, Christiane Katherine Carlisle; parents, Harry F. Carlisle, Katherine Nell (Masters) Carlisle-McDonald; and stepfather, Bill McDonald.
Thomas is survived by his children, Thomas L. Carlisle II (Darla) and David C. Carlisle; sister, LesLie Carlisle-Taylor (Larry “Frog”); brothers, Jack Corbin (Billie) and William Clay McDonald II (Charlene); grandchildren, Cailin Rae, Thomas Logan, Christian Faith, and Elizabeth Morgan.
