Theodore "Ted" E. Waryas

Theodore E. Waryas, 82, of Carmel, passed away Thursday, February 24, 2022.  Ted was born June 14, 1939 to the late Edward and Antoinette Waryas.  He was a graduate of New England College and served in the US Army.

Ted retired as a sales engineer in the automotive industry and was an active member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church.

Ted is survived by his wife, Margaret “Peggy” Waryas; son, Michael Waryas (fiancée, Amy and her two children, Sean and Emma) and son, Steven (wife, Nora) Waryas; adored granddaughter, Cecilia “CeCe” Waryas; brother, Paul (wife, Monique) Waryas.  His brother Frederick followed Ted in death later the same day in Vermont.  He is also survived by several beloved nieces, nephews and many lifelong friends.

Ted was a devoted family man who loved hunting, sports shooting and golfing.  He enjoyed spending time working in his yard and tending his many bird feeders.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 Friday, March 4 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, where family and friends are invited to gather from 9:30 to 11:30 in the church narthex.
