She was born September 5, 1941 in Somerset, Kentucky.
She worked for 38 years as a Head Cashier at Kroger. She then finished her career working for TNT Fireworks.
She enjoyed the simple things in life and cherished her time with her family.
She is survived by her daughter Ginger Sue Willis (and husband Burtis); grandson Burt Willis; and great-grandchildren Naomi, Bailey, and Rae Rae.
She was preceded in death by her husband Carlis Phelps and her mother Geneva Bray.
Private Graveside Services are being held at Washington Park East Cemetery.
