Terry Shannon Castle

TerryCastle age69, of Indianapolis passed away on Wednesday January 20, 2016. He was born onDecember 3, 1946 in Indianapolis, Indiana to William Shannon Castle and EstherLois Ward Castle. Terry grew up in Speedway, Indiana. After graduating fromSpeedway High School he attended Purdue University and received his Bachelorsof Science in Industrial Management. He served in the Army for two years andspent his career working as a manufacturing engineer at the Allison Division ofGeneral Motors Corporation and later Rolls-Royce where he retired in 2007.Terry was a fan of open wheel racing and enjoyed working on vintage cars. Terry was involved in several car clubs including the Bentley Drivers Club andthe Harry Miller Club.

Terryis survived by his wife of 38 years, Karen Sue (Lawson) Castle; daughter,Heather Castle Perdue and her husband Neil Hunter Perdue, grandsons, IsaacEdward Perdue and Leo Shannon Perdue; son, Brent Shannon Castle and his wifeKendra Leigh (Gibbs) Castle, granddaughter, Morgan Lily Castle; sister, BettyCastle Poythress and her husband Christopher Allan Poythress.

Visitationand funeral services for Terry will be held at Flanner & Buchanan FuneralCenter at Washington Park North, 2706 W Kessler Blvd West Dr., Indianapolis, IN46228, with visitation on Monday January 25, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. and funeralservices on Tuesday January 26, 2016 at 10 a.m. Burial will take place inWashington Park North Cemetery following the service.
