Terry Ray Anderson, 80, of North Ft. Myers, Florida passed away on May 16, 2018.

He was born on July 18, 1937 in Clay County, Indiana, to Donald and Arline Anderson.  Terry graduated from Speedway High School in 1955.  Following graduation, Terry served in the United States Navy for two years during the Vietnam War, stationed in the Mediterranean.  On March 8, 1959, Terry married Alberta (Burns).  Terry and Alberta raised three children in Speedway until the family moved to Kokomo in 1976.  Terry worked hard for his family and spent most of his career in the trucking industry, running his own cartage company for many years.  Terry and Alberta retired to North Fort Myers and became part time residents in 1998 and full time residents in 2012.

Terry is survived by his wife of 59 years, Alberta. He is also survived by a son, Kirk (Jolie) Anderson, and a daughter, Kathy (Scott) Ridgeway; five grandchildren, Breanna (Jeff) Dalbey, Tyler (Kathryn) Anderson, Brooke (Daryl) Foreman, Graham Anderson and Daniel Anderson; three great grandchildren, Bryan, Aria and Jordyn; two sisters, Donna (Bill) Brackney and Judi (Charles) Benell and many cousins, nephews and nieces.

Terry was preceded in death by his son, Bryan, in 1983, as well as his parents.

Visitation will be on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Flanner Buchanan-Speedway, 2950 N. High School Rd., from 2PM until 4PM. Funeral services will be immediately following at 4PM. Final resting place will be at Kokomo Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to First Assembly of God, Fort Myers, or to the charity of your choice.
