Susan Jane Aragon

Susan Jane Aragon went to be with the Lord on January 29, 2018 at the age of 85.

Susan worked for many years as a nurse at Methodist Hospital and St. Vincent’s Hospital. She enjoyed traveling the world (Spain, Hawaii, Cancun, Zions National Park, Grand Canyon, and many other places) with her husband, Humberto. She was an avid reader of all sorts of books, magazines, and newspapers. She loved all nature, especially her pets, her flower garden, watching all kinds of animals that would visit in their back yard, and feeding the birds. The humming birds loved her. One time Sue had a humming bird land on her finger and then perched on her forehead. She was very vibrant and willing to try anything. She took a hot air balloon ride even though she was scared. She wasn’t very fond of the water, but learned how to snorkel and loved their white-water rafting trip.

She is survived by her spouse of 34 years Humberto Aragon; her children Bruce Mitchell, Mike Mitchell, Lisa Frank, Patsy Faulkner, Rick Aragon, Brenda Madison, Tony Aragon, Linda Clemens, and Maria Hendershot; as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Monday, February 5 from 10 AM to 12 PM at Flanner Buchanan – Zionsville, 105 W. Pine Street, Zionsville. Funeral Services will begin at 12 noon. Burial will follow at Lincoln Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions in her honor may be made to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints – Humanitarian Aid; In memory of Susan Aragon, c/o Bishop J.D.
