Susan And Mike Shaw

Susan Anne Shaw, 62, passed away November 12, 2022.  She was born December 4, 1959, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the daughter of Gordon and Carole (Ferkel) Housfeld.

Susan was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin.  She was a devoted wife and mother.  She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her two children; Carolyn Shaw and Michael (Carrie) Shaw; three grandsons, Mason, Noah, and Leo; sister, Lynn (Roger) Behling; and a brother, Jerry Housfeld.

John Michael “Mike” Shaw, 79, passed away November 17, 2022.  He was born March 20, 1943, Rochester, New York, the son of the late James and Evelyn (Sweet) Shaw.

Mike proudly and honorably served in the United States Air Force.  He received his bachelor’s degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University which led him to a wonderful career as an airplane mechanic.

In addition to his and Susan’s two children and three grandsons he is survived by a sister, Marge (Rosie) Marante; and a brother, Jim (Rose) Shaw.  He was preceded in passing by a brother, Richard Shaw.

A memorial gathering will be from 12:00 noon until 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at Flanner Buchanan – Carmel, 325 East Carmel Drive.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Humane Society for Hamilton County.  Online condolences may be shared by visiting www.flannerbuchanan.com.
