"Stu" Robin Stewart

Robin “Stu” Stewart passed away peacefully on October 7, 2022, at his home in Indianapolis, IN. He was born in Monterey, CA on July 22, 1953, to his parents, Cecil, and Lois Stewart. Stu is a veteran, in which he took immense pride serving over 20 years in the United States Marine Corps. Stu lived his life to the fullest and did what he loved to do every day. He was an avid bowler, bowling in multiple leagues throughout the years including serving as league secretary. He also enjoyed golfing and spending time with family. Stu is survived by his children; Akira Stewart, Paula Stewart, and Maria Stewart, his grandson; Naoshi (Sayaka) Stewart, his great-grandson; Leo Stewart, his family in California, as well as his beloved bowling family. He is preceded in passing by his parents and his loving wife, Takeko Stewart. He will be laid to rest next to his wife at Washington Park East Cemetery, 10722 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis IN. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 14 at 1:30 pm. We ask that those attending the service meet at the funeral home at 1:15pm so that we may all process out together. In honor of Stu, the family asks that everyone wear casual attire, including golf or bowling shirts, if you have them.
