Santiago Arteaga, Jr., of Indianapolis, Indiana died unexpectedly on June 10, 2022.  He was born on October 13, 1972, in Azcapotzalco, Mexico to Santiago and Ignacia (Correa) Arteaga.  Santiago was an Equipment Engineer for Endress + Hauser Co.  He loved spending time with his family especially watching his sons playing football, spending time with his daughter, cooking especially during the holidays of Thanksgiving and Christmas, he would prepare a feast, he enjoyed dancing, and the family said at Christmas he would only let his family open presents one at a time because he wanted to get the perfect photo of their expression once it was opened.  He was a good husband, brother, father, son, and friend and will be dearly missed.  He is survived by his wife, Maria C. (Boyzo) Arteaga, children, Santiago Junior III Arteaga, Aidan Arteaga, Jacob Arteaga, Sophia Arteaga, his parents, Santiago and Ignacia Arteaga, brother, Raudel (Erika) Arteaga and their children Raudel Arteaga, Jr., Olivia Arteaga, Leah Sophia Arteaga, and his sisters, Manuela (Jerry)  Christner, and their children, Jaeden Christner, Joseph Christner, Joshua Christner, Yolanda Arteaga, and Noemi (Ryan) Pinkston and their children, David Pinkston, Calvin Arteaga, Isabel Pinkston, Ryan Pinkston, Jr.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, 10 AM, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, 337 N. Warman Ave. Indianapolis, IN 46222 with visitation on Monday, June 20, 2022, 4:00pm-8:00pm at Flanner Buchanan Floral Park.  He will be laid to rest at Floral Park Cemetery.
