Sandra Lynn Nelis

55, of Indianapolis, passed away on July 7, 2020. She was born on July 28, 1964 in Indianapolis, Indiana as the daughter of Richard Edwards and Ima Daniels . Sandra was a very hard working and loving woman. She did everything she could to provide for her children, Cynthia and Domonic. For the last 15 years, she has worked at Tube Processing (Aerofab). In her spare time, Sandra enjoyed gardening, taking care of her flowers, and watching the Indianapolis Colts and Notre Dame football games. She was even able to check an item off her bucket list when her and her family went to watch a Notre Dame football game in person at the Notre Dame Stadium. Sandra will be loved and missed by all who knew her.

Sandra is survived by her children: Cynthia Eggleton, Domonic Nelis; grandson Landon Bratcher; one grandchild on the way: Grayson Eggleton; siblings: Joyce, Keith, Rod, and Heather; and nephews: Ricky, Markas, and Markez. Sandra was preceded in death by her father, Richard Edwards and one nephew, Robbie Parrish.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, July 19, 2020 from 11-1pm at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East. There will be a service following at 1pm also at the funeral home.
