Sandra Jo Steen Carter

Sandra Jo Steen Carter, 64 of Indianapolis, Indiana died unexpectedly on December 22, 2022. She was born on November 24, 1958, in Indianapolis, IN to the late Kenneth and Alfreda (Alsip) Steen. Sandra worked as an Insurance Processor for Anthem for many years. She was a very independent, generous sometimes to a fault, enjoyed shopping, enjoyed her cats, but loved spending time with her family. Sandra was loved by many and will be dearly missed. She is survived by her children, Dawn Craig, Heather Carter, Christopher (Amber) Carter, her grandchildren, Kayla Johnson, Brandon Johnson, Tennelle Farmer, Kira Farmer, Lexi Carter, her great grandchild, Carson Johnson, her sister, Cathy Fessenmeyer, and her brothers, Tim Steen and John Steen. Services will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, 12:00pm at Flanner Buchanan Decatur Township with visitation there from 10:00am-12:00pm.
