Samuel Willis Craft,
90, of Indianapolis, passed away Friday, May 11, 2018. Born on August 26, 1927 in Richardsville, Ky. He worked at Allison’s GM for 37 yrs, retiring in 1988. He served the Army overseas in Korea from 1946-48.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Walton and Goebel (Miller) Craft; brothers and sisters, Gerald, Wanda, Maurice, Reba, Kenneth, Finis and Judy. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 61 yrs, Harrietta “Rusty” (Foster) Craft. He is survived by his sisters, Mary Jo (Willis) Eadens and Betty (Jerry) Ellis. His child, Linda (Carl) Swopes; grandchildren, Jeremy and Jennifer Swopes; and great grandchildren, Gabby, Ian and Xavia Swopes.
