Ruth Marie Elliott

Ruth Marie (Secrest) Elliott, 87, a good and faithful servant went home to serve her Lord on Wednesday, January 31^st. Ruth was born on September 22, 1930 in Patricksburg, Indiana to Alfred and Olive Secrest.  Ruth was a loving and dedicated Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, friend, neighbor and devoted Christian that was loved by everyone.  Ruth enjoyed gardening, attending church at Trinity Lutheran, and her weekly C.A.R.T group playing “Hand & Foot”.

Ruth is survived by her son, Mark (Sherry) and daughter Donna (Kevin) Morrow, three grandchildren, Joshua (Carol) Elliott, Robert (Steffani) Morrow and Stacy (Matt) Toole, three great grandchildren James, Johnny and Ruby, brothers Harold (Margaret) Secrest and Arndt (Bobbie) Secrest, sisters Dorothy (Buddy) Abel and Catherine Woempner. She was proceeded in death by her husband Wiley, daughter Nadine, brother Everett and sister Juanita.

Visitation will be Thursday February 8^th from 3 pm – 8 pm at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, with Funeral services February 9^th at 1 pm at the funeral center.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask to honor Ruth with memorial donations to Trinity Lutheran Church in her name.
