Roy Lee Wade, age 71 of Indianapolis passed away on April 4, 2016. He was born November 26, 1944 in Hartsville, Tennessee to Willie Lee and Ruby Sneed Wade, who precede him in death. He moved to Indiana at the age of 21 and married Lois O’Connor on August 21, 1966. He retired from driving truck and then went to work as a bank courier, which he retired from as well. Roy was a very devoted family man and a friend to everyone. Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife of almost 50 years, Lois C. Wade, his children, Sherry (Mike) Alexander, Carolyn M. Wade, and William Lee “Bill” (Kelly) Wade, brother, Charles William Wade and grandchildren, Johnny Lee Alexander, Kimberly Ellen “K.E.” Alexander, Morgan Taylor Wade and Nolan Lee Wade. Friends may visit from 12 Noon until the service at 2 PM Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Flanner and Buchanan – Decatur Township, 5463 Kentucky Avenue, Indianapolis.
