Ronald L. Courtney “Big Sexy”, 63, of New Palestine, Indiana, passed away on June 12, 2021. Ronald will be remembered for his passion to help people, his love for camping, and his fondness to pull a good prank/joke.

Ronald is survived by his loving Daughters & Bonus Daughters, Jamie (Kenneth) Doolin of Eddyville, Illinois, Robyn (Jacob) Sprowls of Herrin, Illinois, Genie (Jason) Santiago of Shelbyville, Indiana, Alyssa (Jimmy) Reeves of Connersville, Indiana, Stephanie Melton of Carthage, Indiana and Ronda (Kyle) Chesher of New Castle, Indiana; his Grandchildren, Hunter, Mallory, Sydney, Rance, Landen, Zathen, Jayden, Kylee, Aubry, Evelynn, Addison, and Daisy; Great Grandchildren, Karma, Chevy, Christopher, and Ivy Mae; Brothers, James Courtney, George Courtney, Allan Courtney, and David Courtney; Sisters, Wanda Courtney and Brenda Wilburn.

He is preceded in death by Parents, Jimmie and Cleona Courtney; Brothers, William Courtney and Thomas Courtney; Sister, Virginia Ostrech; Nephew, Kevin Brendel; and beloved Furbaby, Chloe Marie Courtney.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, July 24, 2021 at 3PM at Flanner Buchanan-Washington Park East, 10722 E Washington St. Indianapolis, IN 46229. Friends and family may gather from 1PM until the time of the service.
